I have wanted to take the Long Road® Lounge to the next level and this year we have the man to do it. Randy (Riz) has taken this project as his personal mission in life and he has put together a committee of volunteers to help.

What is the LR Lounge?
It is a private VIP area at the Smoke Out for LR riders to relax. Riz is super-secretive about the details but he promises if you are not able to get in, you'll will wish you could.
Who gets in?
Riders that have completed the Long Road® or Stampede this year and Members of the Legion of the Long Road® that present their LR medallion (and their photo ID matches the information for that serial numbered medallion). BRING YOU MEDALLIAN!! Contact Riz by e-mail for admittance questions. You cannot buy your way in. The only way to get in, is to ride in by earning a medallion or completing this year's Long Road® (or Stampede).
How is this supported?
Completely by donations (see Riz in the lounge) and what little money cheap-ass Edge pitches towards it. It is based on the concept of "Volunteerism" and this Lounge will be anything our sub-culture makes it. The lounge is being run this year by a small team of volunteers some of whom will miss part of the ride so we can have our lounge. Riz says, "I look forward to seeing everyone again and meeting the new people. I will be in the lounge most of the weekend creating awesomeness (and to answer any questions.)
